Boardwalk Development Group, LLC (“Boardwalk”) focuses on giving back to local charities through its self storage properties by offering free storage at each facility for their needs. It also contributes to other charities in metro Atlanta.
As of May 2024, Boardwalk’s charitable effort has provided over
$23,000 of value to these charities.
Since establishing this practice in 2017, Boardwalk has provided self storage units
free of charge or contributed monetarily to the following charities:
- Helping the Elderly, in Cumming, GA, aiding the elderly in the community who cannot afford home repairs
- Team River Runners, a nationwide organization that works with disabled veterans returning to family and civilian life after being in combat
- Cherokee County Animal Shelter in Canton, GA, promoting animal welfare in Cherokee County, GA
- Gwinnett Humane Society in Lawrenceville, GA, promoting animal welfare throughout the Gwinnett county area
- Healing Waters, a fly fishing program assisting Veterans nationwide
- Troopers Treasures Dog Rescue, helping abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs in Chattanooga and surrounding areas
- McKamey Animal Center, Saving Animals, Helping People in the Chattanooga, TN Area
- Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, providing animal welfare options in the Augusta, GA Area
- Rise Against Hunger, combating food insecurity with nutritionally planned meal packaging and more
- Compassion for Animals, providing for local pets in need
Boardwalk is very proud of its efforts to give back to local charities and to the communities the company serves, and looks forward to continuing this effort.
