Amy joined Boardwalk Development Group in 2017 as the CEO’s Executive Assistant. She has been fundamental in assisting in the growth of the Company from two properties to an award-winning Operator, Manager and Developer in the Self Storage industry, helping Boardwalk rank among the Top 50 in the nation.
Since joining the Boardwalk Team, Amy has been responsible for researching and developing systems for better workflow and training, in addition to equipment and process upgrades. She has been a valued addition, assisting in development and maintenance of Shareholder and Investor relationships, Fund management, and Human Resources processes. Amy has also been essential in preparation and execution of 19 acquisition closings, 10 sales, and 7 development projects since joining the Boardwalk Team.
Prior to joining the Boardwalk team, Amy worked as administrative support in several fields – executive training with Fluor Global Engineering and Construction Company, wholesale distribution with Anheuser Busch, quality control documenting with Underwriters Laboratories, software development with Aeronomics (a leader in Delta Airlines software development), in addition to being a part-time Legal Assistant for a placement service, landing a career in the legal field. Once established as a Legal Assistant, she worked in Investment Banking, Residential Real Estate Construction, Commercial Real Estate, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure and Corporate law.
Amy obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Administrative Management at Clemson University.
Away from work, Amy enjoys spending time in the mountains of North Georgia, hiking and being outdoors. She loves to be with family and friends as often as possible and is a voracious reader of biographies, detective novels and historical fiction.
