Ilde joined the Boardwalk Development Group Team in 2018 and brought more than 30 years of experience to the table in acquisitions, brokerage, development, construction, dispositions, leasing, and project management for multiple property types which includes the following: self storage, industrial, institutional, office, residential and senior living. Ilde is currently responsible for acquisition due diligence, property improvements and expansions, and ground-up development projects.
Ilde has completed nine expansion projects with five more ground-up developments in progress.
Ilde began his career as a Field Engineer in Commercial and Industrial Construction and has advanced to Senior Vice President of Development. He was also the Managing Principal of Real Estate Investments for Urban Land Holdings for 17 years.
Ilde has earned two Masters degrees from the University of Florida in Building Construction and Real Estate. Previous to this, he received his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
Outside of work, Ilde enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sightseeing, and attending car shows and SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) racing events.
